Why Sponsor
Financial services are rapidly adopting large language models and advanced AI across investment research, risk management, compliance, legal analysis, regulatory reporting, customer service, market intelligence, and decision support. FinNLP brings these communities together with researchers, students, and policymakers working at the intersection of NLP, machine learning, finance, economics, and law.
By sponsoring FinNLP, organizations support a leading research community while gaining visibility among researchers, students, engineers, financial professionals, legal experts, AI builders, and industry practitioners.
FinNLP @ EMNLP 2026 focuses on the open challenges that matter to industry practitioners:
- Accuracy, reliability, and factuality in high-stakes settings
- Hallucination and misinformation risks
- Complex financial documents, tables, charts, and numerical data
- Regulatory, legal, compliance, privacy, and data protection constraints
- Domain-specific evaluation, benchmarking, responsible AI, transparency, and governance
Sponsorship Levels
Four fixed levels, from a single exclusive lead sponsor down to entry-level support. Naming opportunities are allocated from the Core Naming Pool below and are subject to availability.
If a Lead / Exclusive Sponsor is confirmed, the full Core Naming Pool becomes exclusive to that sponsor for the workshop cycle, unless otherwise agreed by the organizing committee.
Core Naming Pool
Seven naming opportunities, totaling USD 10,000 of recognized value, distributed across awards, FinEval challenges, and the workshop reception.

Sponsorship Principles
Sponsorship and naming recognition are intended to support FinNLP, FinEval, and the broader financial NLP and financial AI community. Award selection remains fully independent and is determined by the workshop organizers, program committee, award committee, or challenge organizers, as appropriate.
- Influence over paper review or acceptance decisions
- Access to confidential submissions, reviews, reviewer identities, or author identities during review
- Preferential treatment for sponsor-affiliated submissions
- Control over award selection or challenge outcomes
- Control over workshop content, speaker selection, or program decisions
- Endorsement of sponsor products or services by ACL, EMNLP, SIG-FinTech, FinNLP, FinEval, or The Fin AI
All sponsorship arrangements must comply with applicable ACL, EMNLP, SIG-FinTech, and workshop policies, as well as conflict-of-interest, academic integrity, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
