About FinEval
Shared tasks are collaborative initiatives where researchers and practitioners work together to address a common challenge using shared datasets and evaluation metrics. FinEval — Financial Information Access and Evaluation — aims to foster competition while providing a community venue, with new editions called annually alongside the FinNLP workshop.
For 2027, FinEval combines efforts from the FinNLP and FinAI organizers, building on the FinNLP shared tasks since 2019 and the FinRL Contests (2023–2026), to broaden the range of topics, datasets, and evaluation benchmarks. We invite proposals for new financial AI shared tasks to be held at FinNLP-2027 @ ACL 2027. Participants of accepted tasks submit a system description paper (see the Call for Papers), published in the ACL Anthology and presented at the workshop. See also the official FinEval page.
Proposal guidelines, the submission form and the deadline will be announced on this page.
